Comprehensive study of the tourism industry in Cuba.  The study analyses and lists Cuba’s hotels, restaurants, entertainment, resorts and other tourism-related activities, including hospitality, management and training, excursions, and the transportation infrastructure. The study also includes some cruise ship issues.

 

The objectives of the report include providing a comprehensive description of the tourism-related infrastructure, including airports, seaports, resorts, hotels, spas,  museums, restaurants and others; Developing a profile of Cuba’s tourist sites and natural resources, their accessibility to stage of development, proximity to transportation and potential as attractions; and analyzing Cuba’s efforts in specialty tourism, such as ecotourism, medical tourism, scuba, hunting, fishing and other specialized sectors.  The report is over 180 pages long and includes a number of charts and maps.
